Although Ava is a Ragin Cajun at heart, Lafayette is her second home. Born and raised in Baton Rouge, she pursued her secondary education at the University of Louisiana-Lafayette. During her time in the addiction field, Ava quickly realized she is driven by her clients and their desire to change their lives by learning who they truly are in recovery. Art is one of her true passions. She paints acrylic in her free time, and swears by journaling. Music is another love. She not only likes to listen to live music and going to concerts, but she also utilizes music as a form of therapy for her clients. She believes The Grove means support, family, and growth.
